By commenting on this consultation, you are agreeing that your comments (or comments that you are making on behalf of another organisation) can be made public in a consultation report that will be published on the Council’s website. A paper version will also be made available at our main First Point (Howden House). The consultation report will remain a public document for the duration that the Sheffield Plan is an adopted planning document (this is likely to be until 2035, although there will be scheduled reviews of the document put in place).
We will not publish your signature or personal contact details (such as email address). However, your name (and the name of any relevant organisations) will be published alongside the comments that you make.
Part 6 (paragraph 18) of the Town and Country Planning (Local Planning) (England) Regulations 2012 require that we notify residents and businesses, which we consider it appropriate, about consultations on future Sheffield Plan documents. As you have shown an interest in this document, we will retain your contact details so that we can contact you about future consultations or important stages of the Sheffield Plan.
We will hold your details until the adoption of the Sheffield Plan (This is scheduled in our adopted Local Development Scheme for 2018). After adoption we will review details of our contact list and delete contacts where it is appropriate.
What information we will keep and where we will keep it
We will keep details of your name, contact details (email or postal address), and the names of any relevant organisations that you have commented on behalf of. We will store these details electronically on a secure Council system.
